AirTran Air Cuts Fares 35%

AirTran Airways raised the bar on low fares today with a sale on seven-day advance purchase tickets. These fares are available for purchase and ticketing only through Tuesday, August 28, 2001 with travel completed by January 16, 2002.

Fares are up to 35 percent off AirTran Airways' every-day low discount fares. Like all AirTran Airways fares, they require neither roundtrip purchase nor a Saturday night stay. Travelers can save an additional 5 percent more by booking through http://www.airtran.com (America Online keyword: AirTran) and purchasing tickets via the Internet. Tickets are also available for purchase through travel agents or AirTran Airways' reservations system at 1-800-AIR-TRAN.
