TWA Offers Fare Sale as Low as $44 One Way
ST. LOUIS, Oct. 18 /PRNewswire/ -- TWA is having a "Meet Me in St. Louis... Or Elsewhere" fare special offering deeply discounted fares for travel to or from TWA's hub. Customers can save up to an additional 10 percent and earn up to 1,000 Aviators(R) bonus miles for bookings made on TWA.com(R).
Now through Nov. 15, 2001, AAdvantage(R) members can earn unlimited double miles for travel worldwide on American Airlines, American Eagle or TWA. To qualify, members must register prior to travel by calling the AADVANTAGE DIAL-IN(R) line at 1-800-882-8880. Press 1, #*26 and enter Promotion Code DBLAA when prompted. For travel after Dec. 31, a federal excise tax of up to $3 will be imposed per flight segment. A flight segment is defined as one takeoff and landing. For travel to/from London, fares are valid now through Dec. 13 and Dec. 25 through March 14, 2002. For travel to/from San Juan, fares are valid through March 14, 2002. For all other locations, fares are valid for travel through Feb. 13, 2002. Fares are valid for travel (except to/from Florida, Hawaii, London and San Juan) from noon Mondays through noon Thursdays and from noon through midnight on Saturdays. Travel to Florida is valid Sundays through Tuesdays and travel from Florida is valid Wednesdays through Fridays. Travel to Hawaii is valid Mondays through Wednesdays and travel from Hawaii is valid Tuesdays through Thursdays. For London and San Juan, fares are valid for travel Monday through Thursday. For San Juan travel, the following embargo dates apply: from the U.S., Dec. 21-24 and Feb. 17, and to the U.S., Dec. 31 through Jan. 2, Jan. 5-6, and Feb. 23-25. Embargo dates for all other locations are: Nov. 21 and 24-26, Dec. 21-23 and 28-30, and Jan. 2 and 6. Other travel dates and times are available at additional cost.
Reservations must be made at least seven days prior to departure (three days for San Juan) and tickets must be purchased at least seven days prior to departure (three days for San Juan) or within 24 hours of making reservations, whichever comes first, but no later than midnight Oct. 31, 2001. Ticket purchases on TWA.com must be completed at the time of reservation. Thirty-day
maximum stay requirements apply. Fares are non-refundable/non-transferable. Seats are limited. Fares may not be available on all flights and are subject to change without notice.
Double Miles Offer: Valid for travel through Nov. 15, 2001 on published- fare tickets in any class of service on American Airlines, American Eagle or TWA. Registration prior to travel is required. Bonus miles will be awarded after travel is completed and do not count toward elite-status qualification.
Bonus Miles: Valid only on TWA bookings. Earn up to 1,000 Aviators bonus miles for every round-trip ticket booked on TWA.com . Bonus will not be awarded for any other form of purchase. Bonus miles will be awarded after travel is completed and do not count toward privilege card status qualification. Allow six to eight weeks after travel is completed for bonus miles to appear on your Aviators mileage summary. Tickets purchased at special TWA.com discounts may not be issued on another fare type.
