Discovery Cruise Line Introduces Three Value-Added Promotions for Fall 2002

Discovery Cruise Line has introduced three value-added fall promotions effective for travel from Sept. 19 - Nov. 15, 2002.

First, Florida residents are being offered a discounted price of $99.99, including U.S. port taxes, for Discovery one-day cruises departing from Ft. Lauderdale at 7:45 a.m. and returning at 10 p.m. any day of the week.

Second, Discovery is offering all passengers a second night free with the purchase of a $159.99 per person, double occupancy one-night stay over at the newly renovated Royal Oasis Golf Resort & Casino. Considered one of the Bahamas' premier destinations, this 965-room mega-resort features a one- million-gallon beach pool with two three-story water slides and a waterfall, in addition to a renovated 20,000-square-foot casino, choice of on-site specialty restaurants, two USGA-rated championship golf courses, a tennis center, health spa, kids activity center, and "Tonic" Casino Night Club, the island's hippest hot-spot for late-night partying. In short, Royal Oasis is a golf and tennis resort, spa getaway and water theme park rolled into one, and this fall, Discovery's passengers will have the opportunity to enjoy it all at a deeply discounted price with a second night thrown in absolutely free.

Discovery Cruise Line offers same-day round-trips as well as Cruise 'N Stay Vacation Packages from Ft. Lauderdale, FL to Freeport, Grand Bahama, departing daily from Port Everglades. Heading to Grand Bahama, the cruise agenda features a sumptuous breakfast and lunch buffet.
