Discovery Cruise Line Announces New Summer Rates
Discovery Cruise Line, the largest tour operator from South Florida to Grand Bahama Island, has just announced new rates following its recent off-season specials.
Effectively immediately, the rate for adults traveling midweek (Monday- Thursday) is $99.99 per person, and the rate for weekends (Friday-Sunday) is only $129.99 per person. These rates are for same day, round-trip travel only and do not include an $18 per person Bahamas departure fee and fuel surcharge and a $10 security and U.S. Immigration User Fee.
Rates for a minimum 3-day, 2-night stay begin at $149.99 per person, double occupancy, and Discovery offers accommodations at most of the hotels on island.
Kids under 6 sail and stay free at all the resorts on island. The rate for kids from 6 to 11 years is still only $49 per person, and they also stay free at those resorts.
Discovery passengers enjoy lavish breakfast and lunch buffet meals on the cruise over and all the amenities of a traditional cruise. They depart early morning and arrive in the afternoon to enjoy the rest of the day in the Bahamas. On the day of return, they can enjoy a full morning and early afternoon on island before boarding for the return cruise, where they will be treated to a lavish buffet dinner; a Las-Vegas style casino; entertainment; shows; and more.
