Hyatt Regency Maui Resort & Spa Offers Families 50% Off Second Room for Children
Great news for families planning a trip to Maui -- the Hyatt Regency Maui Resort and Spa is offering families 50% off a second room for children ages 18 and under through 2004, on a space available basis. The "Family Plan" with terrace accommodations starts at $345 for the first room and $172.50 for the second room (accommodates up to two children, age 18 or younger). Children who use existing bedding in their parents' room stay at the resort free of charge. Prices are subject to change and do not include airfare, incidentals, gratuities, or occupancy tax.
The oceanfront resort offers a host of great activities for families. Parents and kids alike will enjoy the keiki lagoon, a shallow pool only 18 inches deep that is absolutely perfect for small children. The pool's sandy shore and sand-covered bottom simulates a calm and quiet beach, and means no more skinned knees from slips and falls. Kids can wade past realistically painted turtles and dolphins, and dart in and out of shooting fountains that spout up to 10 feet high. There is also a 25-foot slide and a sand-covered island at the center of the pool, which is ideal for building sand castles.
A new addition to the Hyatt Regency Maui's family-friendly offerings is Keiki Yoga. Offered at Spa Moana every Tuesday and Thursday at 8 a.m., this introductory yoga class is for guests ages 5 to 12 and includes gentle stretches with flowing movement to help children work on balance and proper breathing. Other family friendly activities include the Kiele V catamaran sail, Belly Flop contests, beach blanket bingo, Camp Hyatt for kids, and the rooftop Tour of the Stars astronomy program.
