FAMILIES ENJOY EXTRA VALUE AT CURTAIN BLUFF IN ANTIGUA WITH FAMILY DISCOVERY SPECIAL
For the first time in its 40-year history, Curtain Bluff resort in Antigua will be opening its doors during summer 2004 by extending its season through July 24.
In celebration of this new opportunity for families to enjoy this classic Caribbean resort, Curtain Bluff is offering the Family Discovery Special. From May 9 through July 24 guests who book a Deluxe Room or Junior Suite will receive 50% off the room rate for an adjoining room. With all meals and activities included in the rate and a season lasting into late July, Curtain Bluff is an attractive resort for families looking for touches of luxury and fun during their stay.
"This special deal allows us to welcome the growing number of families who want to enjoy an active Caribbean vacation together,"said Rob Sherman, managing director of the resort. "At Curtain Bluff, the old adage that families who play together stay together holds true as families participate in a vast array of activities together, all included in the daily rate."
A vacation at Curtain Bluff can be as relaxing as sunbathing by the pool or ocean with drinks in hand or a time for families to learn and experience new activities together. With private instruction and equipment all included, each day families choose from a variety of complimentary adventures, such as sailing with Captain John, deep-sea fishing on the "Deep Six," guided snorkeling trips to Cades Reef, waterskiing, sea kayaking along the Antigua coastline, scuba diving with a guide (for certified divers), and tennis on four lighted championship courts.
From May 9 through July 24, 2004, daily rates for a Deluxe Room are $495 per night and $695 per night for a Junior Suite. Guests who book a Deluxe Room or Junior Suite receive 50% off the adjoining room. Rates are based on double occupancy and include all meals, bar drinks, and activities.
Children between the ages of two and five who share a room with their parents may do so at a nightly rate of $65.00. For children five years and over, the nightly rate is $140 during the extended season. Two children up to the age of 18 can stay in an adjoining room for 50% off the daily rate. Tax and gratuities are additional.
Curtain Bluff is located on 20 lushly landscaped acres on the south coast of Antigua and is surrounded by two beautiful sandy beaches. Under the same ownership and management for over 40 years, Curtain Bluff offers a total of 72 beachfront accommodations including 18 Deluxe Rooms, 40 Junior Suites and two one-bedroom Grace/Morris Bay Suites, with connecting rooms to accommodate families or large groups. In addition to the comprehensive (all-inclusive) rates which in addition to meals and bar drinks cover most of the activities available to guests, a freshwater pool and two beaches are available. Breakfast and dinner are served in the open-air dining room, with a view of the ocean and the hotel's grounds, and lunch and refreshments are served at the Beach Club.
