Franklyn D. Resort And FDR Pebbles Announce Single Parent Special For The Remainder of 2004
FDR Resorts, owners and operators of Franklyn D. Resort, and FDR Pebbles recently announced their Single Parent Special, offering no single supplement charge between May 1st - December 15th 2004.
"We recognize the financial burden that single parents face and our waiving of our single supplement plus the Vacation Nanny assigned to each family at both Resorts offer an ideal combination for single parents who want to vacation this Summer", states the Company's Director of Sales, Ms. Marjorie Cunningham.
Franklyn D. Resort, the FDR Resorts' flag ship property, opened in April 1990 to offer families a home away from home with its all-suite accommodations and a Vacation Nanny to pamper your family. There are "no rooms" at the Franklyn D. Resort, but rather seventy-six beautifully decorated air-conditioned one, two and three bedroom suites.
The most unique aspect of this resort is its Vacation Nanny concept whereby each family is appointed a member of staff who attends to their needs for the duration of their stay. The resort boasts a fully supervised mini-club featuring a range of activities for children, including a kiddies disco, outdoor art and craft center and mini arcade. Specially designed programs for young children, infants and toddlers are offered. As the kids engage in their favourite activity, adults are free to indulge in a variety of water sports and other sporting activities offered at the resort.
All-inclusive rates at the Franklyn D. Resort range from $1,260 - $2,100 per adult, per week for a one or two bedroom suite from now through December 2004. Children under 6 are free and Children 6-15 range from US$30 per night in the Summer to US$50 per night in the Winter. Prices include accommodations, round trip airport transfers, all meals and drinks, activities, sports and entertainment facilities, services for the Vacation Nanny, island excursions and shopping trips, golf green fees, t-shirts, and a bottle of rum and coffee to take back home.
The FDR Pebbles offers families a soft adventure holiday. Here, 96 Cedarwood, Oceanview and Oceanfront Junior suites, decorated in attractive wicker furnishings stretch along the 600' beachfront. The whole family, pre teens and teens will participate in a wide range of activities like hiking, cycling trips on all-terrain bicycles, fishing, educational field trips to the Martha Brae River, camping and map reading. The holiday includes meals from a choice of three restaurants, wine with lunch and dinner, beach grill, a Jamaican restaurant, Sports Bar, tennis, live nightly entertainment, shopping and historical tour of Falmouth, Swamp Safari tour, all sporting activities, watersports including scuba diving, airport transfers, a cyber cafe, all hotel taxes and service charges. A Vacation Nanny is assigned to families with small children.
