Early Bird Specials Offered at Yellowstone National Park
Xanterra Parks & Resorts, operator of lodges, restaurants, gift shops and activities in
Yellowstone National Park, will again offer its "Early Bird Specials" at four lodging facilities within the park when it opens for the 2005 summer season.
Spring in the park is noted for the emergence of bears from hibernation, the survival of the stronger animals through the harsh winter and the reopening of the park as it shifts from winter to summer mode.
Early Bird Specials allow guests to stay for as little as $49 per night for a room for single or double occupancy plus tax. Early Bird Special rates must be booked by April 1, 2005 but reservations are already being accepted. Reduced rates and available dates are:
Old Faithful Snow Lodge, May 6-12
Lodge room - $119
Grant Village, May 27 - June 2
High-range room - $89
Mammoth Hot Springs Hotel, May 14-20
Room without a private bathroom - $49
Mid-range room - $79
Suite - $199
Lake Yellowstone Hotel, May 20-26
Backside room - $119

Visitors looking for reduced rates are also encouraged to visit Yellowstone's web site for occasional unadvertised specials, including discounted rates during the winter season.
