Chenay Bay Beach Resort Offers Sizzling Summer Deals and Fun Activities for Family Travel
Chenay Bay Beach Resort helps take the guesswork out of planning your family's summer vacation by providing great travel deals and an outstanding kids program to ensure that the kids have fun in the sun.
Families that travel from now until December 20, 2004, can take advantage of the Five for Seven Nights package. Guests who book a minimum seven-night vacation will pay for only five, enjoy a one-day free car rental and receive a $100 food/beverage credit. During the summer months, traveling families have the opportunity to take advantage of extra savings with the resort's Kids Stay & Eat Free program. Children, 18 and under, staying in the same room with a paying adult are free of charge and children, 12 and under, eat free when dining with a paying adult.
The Cruzan Kids program at Chenay Bay offers children ages 4-12 activities that include snorkeling, ocean kayaking, swimming, arts and crafts, water aerobics, and field trips to the botanical gardens and rain forest. For kids eight and up, Chenay Bay offers a scuba lesson called the Bubblemaker Program. Children are supplied with full dive gear including one tank and lesson in the pool followed by water games. Young guests 10 and older can follow up with an ocean dive for an additional fee. The resort offers a half-day program, 9am -12 pm, for $19.95 that includes a snack. A full day, 9am-3 pm, that includes a snack, lunch and off property activities such as the island tour and rainforest hike is $29.95.
For the active family, the resort offers many complimentary activities including snorkeling, sunfish sailing, ocean kayaking, volleyball and tennis. For shopping, superb dining and a diverse nightlife, the resort is conveniently located three miles east of the historic capital city of Christiansted.
