Jackson Lake Lodge To End 2004 Season With Discounted Lodging Package
Grand Teton Lodge Company will conclude Grand Teton National Park's 75th season this year with its Jackson Lake Lodge 75th Anniversary Special featuring a savings of 38 percent off the regular price of the package components.
The 75th Anniversary Special is available from September 5 until the lodge closes for the season October 5. The package is based on double occupancy and includes one night in a Jackson Lake Lodge cabin, breakfast in the Mural Dining Room and an interpretive motorcoach tour of Grand Teton National Park. The package is priced at $75 per person per night.
The federal government first established Grand Teton National Park in 1929 when it set aside 96,000 acres comprised of Wyoming's Teton Range and six glacial lakes at the foot of the mountains as a national park. In 1943, President Franklin Delano Roosevelt used presidential proclamation to establish the Jackson Hole National Monument, comprised of the valley immediately to the east of the magnificent range. The 310,000-acre park as we know it today is the result of combining the monument, park and thousands of acres purchased and donated by John D. Rockefeller, Jr.
The 75th Anniversary Special is subject to room availability and is not available to groups. It is valid for new bookings only and subject to change without notice. To book the package, call 1-800-628-9988 and ask for the 75th Anniversary Special.
