Free Kids Camp and Kids Meals at Colorado's Cheyenne Mountain Resort
Cheyenne Mountain is in Colorado Springs and offers guests everything from its own 35-acre recreation lake to a Pete Dye-designed 18-hole championship golf course to 18 indoor and outdoor tennis courts.
During the last weeks of summer, the resort offers its Late Summer Platinum Package for families. As part of this package, the resort is taking $100 per night off their regular Summer Platinum Package as well as adding two fantastic extras for kids: complimentary Summer Day Camp for kids and Kids Eat Free.
The package is good any day of the week through September 22, 2004, and there's a two-night minimum. The Late Summer Platinum Package includes:
Full privileges at the resort's Country Club including the fitness center, five different swimming pools, all classes (pilates, aerobics, water aerobics, etc.) and watersports on the lake.

The price for this package is $210 double occupancy per night subject to availability; and up to two children stay free. All tee times, court times, and class times are subject to availability.

While parents are free to enjoy golf, tennis or Colorado Springs attraction, their kids can be having a fun, stimulating time with other children participating in a variety of activities conducted by counselors. The activities, which vary daily, may include fishing, golf, tennis, swimming, boating, basketball, racquetball, volleyball, soccer, arts and crafts, a variety of indoor games including Nintendo Play Station, hiking, and compass and outdoor survival courses. The children may participate in an assortment of contests such as fishing tournaments, fitness challenges and kite contests. Regular guest speakers -- including from the Colorado Springs police and fire departments, The Raptors Center, Cheyenne Mountain Zoo and the Division of Wildlife will share valuable information and insights with the children.
