Skiers seeking a little romance can head to the Hyatt Regency in Beaver Creek, Colorado. The Vail/Beaver Creek area offers some of the best skiing available in North America, and the accommodations at the Hyatt are certainly some of the most luxurious. After a day of skiing, enjoy a romantic sleigh ride dinner, cuddle up by one of the Hyatt's many huge fireplaces, or just order room service and relax in the privacy of your own room.
Don't want to leave the kids behind? No problem. The Hyatt's Winter Camp Hyatt Program is designed to meet your needs. The program is available seven days a week and is designed for children ages 3 to 12 years old. Activities include polar bear swimming, sledding, snow painting, snow scavenger hunts, kids in the kitchen, ice skating (on the premises), arts and crafts such as Ute Indian war paint and jewelry making, Marmot microwave dough art and making Indian pictographs. Frank Doll, the Hyatt's on-staff historian/storyteller, is available to weave magical tales of the Vail Valley to the fascination of children of all ages.
