The Sanibel Harbour Resort & Spa occupies a lovely site on Punta Rassa Peninsula, overlooking popular Sanibel Island and a number of tiny mangrove islets in the Gulf of Mexico. Guests can enjoy the romantic view, great restaurants, luxurious suites or one- and two-bedroom condominiums, and a host of other activities. The spa is particularly impressive, and includes exercise facilities, racquetball courts, whirlpools, plunge pools, saunas, swiss showers, and a lot more. The resort is best known for its tennis facilities, including 12 lighted courts, eight dry clay courts, four Spin-flex courts, a great tennis center, and a 5,500 stadium. In addition, guests receive excellent instruction from the resort's pro staff.
What isn't so well known is the resort's great kids program, which can keep your 5-12 year-olds busy from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. every weekday. Souvenirs, prizes and lunch are included in the $34 daily fee. On Valentine's Day, Pirate Invasion Day activities will include arts & crafts, a walk-the-plank game, lunch theatre, a treasure hunt, jumping ship, and story time. On Friday and Saturday evenings, the Kids Klub Dinner Theater is held from 6 to 9 p.m. ($20 per child includes movies, prizes and dinner).
