It's a must see for the shows, aquarium, and exotic animals.Tickets run $10.00 for both attractions. Children under 10 are free. The Siegfried and Roy show is not open on Wednesdays..but the Dolphin Habitat is open. Make sure to check out the Mirage's volcano and expansive shopping plaza while you are there!!

This incredible New York City replica is a sight to see by itself. Check out the Statue of Liberty and take a ride on the Manhattan Express, an exciting roller coaster that twists, loops and dives around the resort's perimeter. Please be aware that this rollercoaster has some turns that are similar to the force felt by pilots---younger children should not ride the rollercoaster. The arcade is filled with games for all. A bird and wildlife habitat for you to explore. Take a walk through a paradise of exotic cockatoos, toucans and marmosets. Located in the walkway, between the Tropicana towers. There is no admission for this beautiful sight. It is perfect for a 1 hour quick getaway.

Recreating the prehistoric ages, southwestern style, happens when you step into the Grand Slam Canyon Theme park. Stop by the Big Top for a clown adventure or take a ride of the corkscrew rollercoaster. There are so many thrilling attractions for children here. Spend the day riding the water flume, bumper cars, and swinging ship. Children can also hit the Fossil Dig, complete with ancient replicas of fossils and rock. Admission to the park is free. Ride tickets can be purchased separately or as an all day pass.

Come back to the days of King Arthur at the Excalibur arcade. Try your skills are the games, shop for a few hours or check out the Magic Motion Machine. The Magic Motion is a simulation ride that takes your through the Swiss Alps on a runaway train. Camelot is yours at the Wizard's Arcade or at the Medivial Village. There is no admission fee.

The MGM Grand Hotel has one of the most renowned child care facilities in the country. It is not difficult to find things to do as a family at this property. Things such as a 12,000 square-foot arcade, rides, shows, specialty areas, Wizard of Oz area, attractions and theme park styled eateries are all part of Nevada's first official theme park. This park should be put on the TOP of your list of things to do with the kids. One day passes run from $10.00 and up per person.

This 66,000-square-foot magical world featuring dining and illusions in located in the Caesars Palace. Although Caesars doesn't have much to offer the young children, you may want to check out The World of Caesar. This rotunda resembles an ancient Roman temple. A people mover will whisk you away to replicas of the Coliseum, Forum, and Palatine Hill. Another feature that should be seen is at the Omnimax Theater , complete with reclining seating. The Omnimax shows action travel films. Admission for the Omnimax runs from $5.00 to $9.00 per person.

Looking for something different to do with the family? How about a day of good old fashioned water fun! Grab an innertube and float along the Lazy River. Those who are more adventurous can check out some of the high speed flume rides, such as Bomb Bay or Hydra Mania. The waterpark does have a children's play area and wave pool, also. Hoover Dam
Located less than an hour from Las Vegas, you will find the Hoover Dam. This dam was built, over 60 years ago, during our countries Depression . Hoover Dam is a National Historical Landmark and is rated by the American Society of Civil Engineers as one of the America's Seven Modern Civil Engineering Wonders. The dam is open 364 days a year (except for Christmas). Admission is $8.00 for adults and $2.00 for children.
Grand Canyon
This is America--and it's only 2 hours from Las Vegas!! As you step onto the north or south rim of the Grand Canyon, you understand what is is to be a proud American. In one simple word, the Grand Canyon is spectacular!! The millions of acres of the canyon was carved by the Colorado River. The Grand Canyon is best seen from the south rim. The warmer months are the best times to visit the canyon, as is get pretty icy and chilly in the fall and winter months. Gazing at the Canyon's beauty is only one of the many activities. You can choose from mule rides, hiking, biking and much more. Admission is $20.00 per private vehicle, activities are extra.
