Resort Overview: Keystone, the "Nature of the Rockies," is nestled in a picturesque valley featuring a year-round resort. The resort is set up with villages and clusters of neighborhoods around the Snake River. The Keystone Children's Center offers child care for guests ages 2 months through teens. Keystone is just 90 miles west of Denver. This is an excellent property to consider for a family reunion in the spring, summer, fall or especially winter.

Accommodations: Keystone offers guests a variety of 1,400 units that range in size, location and price. The Keystone Lodge has 152 rooms in the heart of Keystone Village. The Inn is 103 room hotel with views of the Snake River Valley. There are more than 1,100 units ranging from studios to four bedroom condos and two to five bedroom homes. Ski Tip Lodge is a bed and breakfast. Special Forest Rates are from $95 per night. Other great deals include Ski Free/Stay Free. Kids under 12 always stay for free.

Restaurants: Alpenglow Stube sits atop North Peak at 11,444 feet. They serve skier's a gourmet lunch buffet and dinner includes a six-course meal featuring Colorado and contemporary American cuisine. Keystone Ranch features six-course dinners with a Western flair. Ski Tip Lodge offers breakfast, lunch and dinner in a rustic-country setting. The Garden Room overlooks Keystone Lake and features tableside preparations of filet mignon. There are 50 eateries on the Mountain that serve family favorites. Each village has their own restaurants serving everything from breakfast, pizza and steaks.

Children's Programs: Keystone's Children's Center offers year-round activities for guests ages 2 months-12 years. They are opened from 8am-5pm daily. Full-day child care is $64 including lunch and half-day (either 8-1 or 1-5) is $54 including snacks. The Snowplay Program is for kids ages 3 and older. Winter outdoor fun includes sledding, building snowmen, gondola rides and more. Parents must provide appropriate clothing. The Teens Center is open from 5-10 pm daily for ages 12-18. Activities include movies, pizza parties, Sony Playstations, Internet access and more.

Golf: Keystone Ranch Golf Course is an 18-hole, Robert Trent Jones Jr.- designed course. It was recently named one of the top 50 "Must Play" golf courses by LINKS magazine. The River course is an 18-hole; par-71 course that opened in June 2000.

Tennis: The Keystone Tennis Center has 12 outdoor and two indoor courts. Hourly court rates are $22. Rackets and shoes may be rented at the Pro Shop and a variety of lessons and clinics are available.

Swimming: The Keystone Lodge has an indoor pool.

Skiing: Keystone offers skiers 22 lifts and 116 trails. The Children's Ski and Snowboarding School offers programs for 3 year olds and ages 4-14. The Adult Ski School has different lessons set up for beginners, women and more advanced skiers.

Other Activities and Amenities: Other activities at Keystone include: ice skating, sleigh rides, cooking classes, Camp Culinaire, snowmobiling, fitness center, massage and spa and shopping. Warm weather activities include mountain biking, hiking, Keystone Music Festival, boating on Keystone Lake, fishing, in-line skating and the Alpine Institute.
